Antique 40ct Emerald Seal Ring, Brandenburg Coat of Arms, 1701

An antique 18th century men's large glove ring with large emerald of an estimated 40.00 carats, with a carving of Brandenburg (Prussia) coat of arms

On 17 January 1701, Frederick dedicated the royal coat of arms, the Prussian black eagle. On 18 January, he crowned himself and his wife Sophie Charlotte in a baroque ceremony in Königsberg Castle.

The ring was perhaps previously in ownership of one of the noble people or royal family members of that period.

The ring was made in Brandenburg-Prussia Circa 1701.

Tested positive for 22ct Gold.
