Antique Edwardian Burmese Ruby and Diamond Five Stone Ring

A classic Edwardian five stone ring set with three bright and lively old-cut diamonds and two cushion cut rubies of Thai and Burmese origin. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold.

Diamonds:

• Total diamond weight: estimated 1.23 carats.
• Diamond colour: G-H.
• Diamond clarity: VS-SI (very slightly to slightly included).

Rubies:

• Total weight: estimated 0.75 carats.
• Origin: Thai and Burmese.
• Neither ruby shows any indication of heat treatment.

The ring is mounted in unmarked but tested 18 carat yellow gold. There are some marks to the interior of the shank which might have been a signature, but these have been worn away.

UK finger size O, US size 7.5, but may be resized with ease.
