Vintage 18 Carat Yellow Gold Violin Brooch

A finely crafted 18 carat yellow gold brooch in the form of a classical violin, realistically modelled with engraved detailing to the fingerboard, strings, bridge, and f-holes. The back is engraved with the inscription Sandown Park, 21 March 1947, possibly commemorating a significant event or personal achievement at the renowned British racecourse. It is secured with a pin and clasp mechanism.
