A Cartier diamond and platinum watch, with a round dial, with painted Arabic quarter numerals and dots, in gold, signed Cartier, on a silvered dial, with blue steel hands, with a faceted edged crystal, in an eight-cut diamond set surround, with baguette-cut diamonds set in the shoulders, mounted in platinum, with an engraved, RGE monogram, on the back of the case, with French, bearded mens' head marks, for imported platinum, the inside of the case is stamped IRID PLAT, marked with an arrow through a crescent and numbered 68691, with various service marks, side of the case is numbered 5888, on a black, woven, double cord strap, with two row, rose-cut diamond set clamps, with French dog head marks, for platinum, with a black enamelled, gold, folding clasp, numbered 1667, with French eagle head marks for 18ct gold, with a swiss movement by Meylan, numbered 5895, circa 1950.
