Vintage French Retro 1940s Diamond Ruby Gold Tank Ring

A striking Retro 18ct yellow gold, ruby and diamond tank ring. This statement ring has a central bridge set with a row of 7 old cut diamonds and 6 calibre cut rubies which connect either side of the bulbous shank which tapers to the base of the band. Circa 1940's.

Diamonds (7): approx. 0.30 carat total
Hallmark: French eagles head for 18ct gold and makers mark MC
Ring size: M 1/2 (UK) / 6.5 (US) / 53⅜ (EU) / 18mm internal diameter
Gross weight: 15.2 grams
Condition: Excellent condition commensurate with age and use. The gold shows no signs of wear or excessive rubbing and the gems are all securely set and original to the ring.
