A beautiful vintage Mauboussin ruby and diamond Etruscan inspired chain bracelet set in 18ct yellow gold.
The bracelet is centrally set with an openwork Etruscan inspired motif, set to the centre with a large oval cabochon ruby, and surrounded by round brilliant cut diamonds. The motif is connected to two smaller ruby and diamond terminals by two strands of flat curb link chain, which drape nicely on the wrist. The bracelet is secured by a hand engraved box clasp and safety catch.
Due to the design and style, this bracelet stands out beautifully on the wrist. The size of this bracelet allows it to be worn for a variety of occasions and next to other pieces of jewellery.
There is a total diamond weight of 1.35 carats ranging G-H with VVS-VS clarity. The rubies are cut en cabochon and are beautifully matched in colour. The bracelet measures exactly 18 centimetres in length and 1.5 centimetres in width (from the widest points). There is a gross weight of 13.3 grams. Lastly the bracelet is hallmarked 18ct, Mauboussin Paris, with he serial number 34440. Circa early 2000’s.
